Cookies and browser storage
This page explains the local browser entry used to remember that you dismissed the storage notice. It describes the entry, its duration and the browser controls you can use to remove it.
Cookies and local storage are different
A cookie is a small value a website can ask your browser to store and return with later requests. Local storage also saves information in a browser, but it is not automatically attached to each web request. Both can be relevant to privacy rules, so we explain the actual entry used here.
The preference entry
Name: privacy-choice. Technology: first-party browser local storage. Purpose: remember that you dismissed the storage notice, with the time of that acknowledgement. Information recorded: that the notice was dismissed and the time it was saved. This entry does not activate tracking.
There is no fixed automatic expiry in the site code. The entry remains until you change it, clear site data or your browser removes it. It is specific to this website origin and browser profile. It does not follow you to another device or another company's website.
No optional tracking is running
The current site has no analytics script, advertising pixel, social tracking widget or embedded video service. Fonts and page assets are served with the site. Dismissing the notice does not activate a service or send an analytics event.
If we introduce optional tracking, we will describe the tools here and provide any required consent controls before they run. Dismissing the current notice does not authorize a future tool.
Dismiss or reopen the notice
Understood closes the notice and remembers that it has been read in this browser. The Browser storage link in the footer opens a short explanation. Close and remember saves the acknowledgement and closes that panel. These controls do not request agreement to optional tracking.
You can remove the entry through your browser controls for this website. The notice will appear again on a later visit. Removing it does not delete an email you already sent or alter the storage settings of a destination you chose to visit.
Browser restrictions and site delivery
You can restrict cookies and storage in browser settings. If local storage is unavailable, the site should still load, but it may be unable to remember your preference and can show the banner again. Private browsing commonly removes saved data when the session ends.
Page delivery still involves technical requests to our hosting provider. Dismissing the notice does not prevent the connection needed to display the website. Security and network records are discussed in the privacy notice; they are not optional advertising cookies.
External destinations
An email link opens your configured mail application. An external link opens another operator’s website. Those services can have their own storage practices. They are not embedded trackers running inside this site.
