Ways to work together

Operating review

An outside look at a problem that keeps returning.

Projects may repeatedly run over, although each one seems to have a different explanation. Or the owner and team may disagree about why routine decisions take so long. A review investigates the pattern before choosing a change.

What we examine

We discuss recent examples with the people involved and inspect the briefs, estimates and schedules they were using. Differences between their accounts can be useful evidence of a missing input or unclear expectation.

What you receive

The findings set out what appears to be causing the problem, the evidence and recommended next steps. We distinguish open questions from conclusions. You can use the review internally or decide whether to test a change with support.

Describe the recurring problem. We agree the assignment and fee before starting.
